Hello.  My name is ________.  I am calling because I support the Russia Sanctions Review Act.

Background:
A bipartisan bill was introduced in the Senate called the Russia Sanctions Review Act that would give legislators some control over Trump’s ability to lift sanctions against Russia (which were placed by the U.S. due to Putin’s invasion of Ukraine and interference in our elections). The legislation would need to be approved by the Foreign Relations Panel to come up for a vote. Removing sanctions would show the U.S. won’t interfere with Putin’s aggressive actions and also allow him to go forward with a 500 billion dollar deal with Exxon to drill in the Gulf of Mexico.

Regarding Putin, McCain stated, “[He] continues to oppress his citizens, murder his political opponents, invade his neighbors, threaten America’s allies, and attempt to undermine our elections.”
