Dear U.S. Friends of any party affiliation,
We are experiencing a data breach that is beyond anything we have ever seen before. The melon husk and his henchmen have access to the U.S. government’s treasury data. Not only do they now have your social security number, but if you have ever had a financial transaction with the U.S. government via bank transfer, they, and whomever they sell or give that information to, now have access to your bank account number as well.
What can we do?
First, protect yourself. Call your financial institution and ask them what actions they are taking to protect your accounts from this data breach.
Second, we need to make some noise. Call your Senators and your Representatives and let them know you are worried and angry. If you cannot get through via the Capitol switchboard, (202) 224-3121, contact their local office. A quick internet search should get you those phone numbers.
If your Senators are Democrats, call and tell them “No Business As Usual” until Husk and his cronies are removed from the government. Tell them to block all nominations, withhold unanimous consent, and make everything as difficult as possible for Republicans.
For calling Republican Senators and your Representative, Democrat or Republican, tell them that you did not elect the melon husk and that he is taking over powers that constitutionally belong to Congress. If they are Republicans ask why they are allowing that, if they are Democrats ask what they are doing to stop it.
Some Democratic lawmakers speaking outside of the Treasury Building last night cautioned that several Republican lawmakers have taken their phone off the hook so they do not have to answer your calls. Call their local office. Send emails. Send traditional letters. And, if you can, show up at their local office, bring friends.
